If you’ve done all the other trails, and you’re either ready to start your changed lifestyle within the next week, or you’ve already started, you’re on Trail 5: Make it last. This is where you gather tools and tactics to keep on keeping on!
A wise person once said, “There are only two hard things about a diet. Starting, and not stopping.”
Trail 5 is where you learn to not stop.
And yes, it is learnable! How do I know?
I did twenty or more years of start/stop/start/stop, but I’ve been in “keep going” mode since 2014. It wasn’t magic. I learned how to talk myself through temptations and discouragement, how to keep my “bigger yes” front and center, and how to re-frame failure.
The resources for this trail aren’t as deep as some of the others, because most of the women I help are on Trails 1, 2, or 3. But as I said, I’ve lived here for several years, so if you need help, don’t hesitate to contact me to request an article on a specific topic, or check out my online support sessions.
